كشف فؤاد سزكين عن وجود مخطوطة أخرى، هي حاجي محمود 2406 تحتوي على نصوص جديدة للنفري، كما انه وفي الدراسة المطولة التي كتبها الأب بولس نويا السيوعي عن "تفسير القرآن" أشار الى جميع هذه الأقسام غير المنشورة من أعمال النفري واستفاد منها، ثم نشر مقتطفات منها في مجلة "المشرق" (عدد كانون الأول 1970) كما أتيح للأب نويا العثور على مخطوطة طهران. واستناداً الى هذه المخطوطات والمطبوعات المذكورة نشر الأب أعمال النفري التي جاءت في هذه الطبعة تحت عنوان كتاب "موقف المواقف" بالإضافة الى ما جاء تحت عنوان "أجزاء متفرقة"، "قسم الحكم"، "مواقف ومناجات" و"باب الخواطر ومقالة في الحب". ولابد من وقفة قصيرة للتعريف بصاحب هذه الأعمال. وهو محمد بن عبد الجبار النّفّري. شخصية غامضة منتهى الغموض في تاريخ التصوف الإسلامي.
