ولد في 20 ديسمبر عام 1969.

نشر عام 1993، عندما كان في الثالثة والعشرين من عمره، كتاب "مقالات في الحب"، والذي راج حينها محققاً مبيعات تقدر بـمليونيْ نسخة.
بضعة كتب أخرى لحقت بذلك الرواج وباتت على قوائم الكتب الأفضل مبيعاً، ككتاب "كيف يمكن لبروست أن يغير حياتك" 1997، وكتاب "هندسة السعادة" 2006، وغيرهم.
