- أطال حسن نظره إلى القلعة، ثم قال.. من بنى هذه القلعة؟ - بناها رجلُ كان يملك حينها كل الطرق حتى اكتشف غيره طريقاً جديداً فأصبح طريقه بائساً. كيف لا تتذكر؟ التف البرتغاليون حول إفريقيا ليتجنبوا طريق مصر.. ثم جاء رجل فرنسي يفكر في طريق جديد أقصر وأسرع، يجعل كل الطرق دونه بلا قيمة.. وتعرف أين وجد هذا الطريق؟ في مصر.
اعترض الإنجليز على الطريق وقالوا إنه لن يفلح ولكنه فلح.. واختصر الطريق إلى الهند آلاف الأميال.. ماذا يفعل الإنجليز؟ طريق البحر سريع، ولكنه على أرض غير أرضهم، بناه غيرهم. الطريق.. هو الغاية.. دوماً ردد: الطريق هو الغاية. ليس الديون ولا الحماية.. ولا ..
