محمد بن سيرين البصري، الأنصاري بالولاء، أبو بكر: إمام وقته في علوم الدين بالبصرة.
تابعي. من أشراف الكتاب. مولده ووفاته في البصرة.
نشأ بزازا، في أذنه صمم. وتفقه وروى الحديث، واشتهر بالورع وتعبير الرؤيا.
واستكتبه أنس بن مالك، بفارس. وكان أبوه مولى لأنس.
ينسب له كتاب (تعبير الرؤيا - ط) ذكره ابن النديم، وهو غير (منتخب الكلام في تفسير الأحلام) المطبوع، المنسوب إليه أيضا، وليس له .

Book Description
ابن سيرين هو أبوبكر محمد بن سيرين التابعي الكبير، والإمام القدير في التفسير، والحديث، والفقه، وتعبير الرؤيا، والمقدم في الزهد والورع وبر الوالدين، توفي 110هـ بعد الحسن البصري بمائة يوم، وكان عمره نيفاً وثمانين سنة.
كان ابن سيرين رحمه الله قصيراً، عظيم البطن، به صمم، كثير الضحك والمزاح، عالماً بالحساب، والفرائض، والقضاء، ذا وفرة، يفرق شَعْره ويخضب بالحناء، يصوم يوماً ويفطر يوماً.
تعبير الرؤى من العلوم الشرعية والفراسات الربانية، وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أعلم الخلق بعد يوسف عليه السلام بتعبير الرؤى وتأويلها، وقد شرع لأمته أسس وقواعد التعبير، فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم:
1. "إذا اقترب الزمان لم تكد رؤيا المؤمن تكذب".
2. "أصدقهم رؤيا أصدقهم حديثاً".
3. "رؤيا المؤمن جزء من ستة وأربعين جزءاً من النبوة".
4. "رؤيا الأنبياء حق".
5. "اللبن فطرة، والقيد ثبات في الدين، والغرق نار، لقوله تعالى: "أغرقوا فأدخلوا ناراً"1.
6. "من رآني – في المنام - فقد رآني فإن الشيطان لا يتمثل بي"، هذا إذا رآه على صورته التي كان عليها ولم يخرم منها صفة من صفاته.
