"يا من تقرأ رِسَالَتي أُحذركَ من شخصٍ شرير يُدعى السيد "غانم" يدَّعي البراءةَ وهو ساحرٌ خبيث، يعيش وسط الناس ويسخر سحره للبطش بهم، قتل أهلي كلهم وعندما عرفت حقيقته أخذني بعيدًا ليقَتَلَني وأنَا الآن سجينةٌ لديه ولا أعْلَم مصيرى"
كان ذلك منذ أربعمائة عام حين قتل الفتاة وأنزل لعنته بالقرية، فظل الناس لايكبرون ولا يتزوجون ولا ينجبون، وفي الْبَلَد الأُخرى مع السيد غريب، وكيف أمره بقتل بضعةٍ من الرجال ليكونوا قرابين ليخرج شرًا عظيما من كهفه.
إذًا فهناك ما يقويه ويجعله شابًا قويًا شريرًا، إذًا السيد "غانم" هو مُدَّعِي البراءة، السيد "غانم" هو من في ظهره الحيَّة.
ردت "أونِينِي"، أيضًا نحن في الْبَلَد الّتي كانت تعيش فيها الفتاة المقتولة، وإذَا كان كلامها صحيحًا فإنه يقوم بسحر الناس هنا.
أتذكر الآن حينما قال رجل الشاطىء إنه يلقى عليهم بكلمات فيزيد أعمارهم وصحتهم ويجعلهم أكْثَر عملا وثراءً، نعم، أتذكر، فالكل هنا غير موثوق فيه، يمكن أن يكون تحت تأثير منه. وقلتُ لـ "أونِينِي":
- الأمْرُ خطيرٌ، قد قررتُ أن أحضر وَحدِي الاحتفال اليوم وأَرَى ما يحدث، ولكنكِ لن تحضرين مَعِي، إنّي أخشى عليكِ العواقب كَثيِرًا، امكثي هنا في البيت، وأنَا سأعود إليكِ، إن لم أعُد في الليل سأعود في النهار، وإذَا لم أعُد فأبحري بالمركب بعيدًا عن هنا، وابحثي عن نصيبك.
رفضت "أونِينِي" وأصرت على الذهاب مَعِي،
- "إن قَدَرِي هو قدرك".
هذا ما قالته.
