من الحب ما يمنح قبلة للحياة، ومن الحب ما يقضي على هذه الحياة. وعندما يقع هذا النوع الكارثي من الحب، وعندما ينتهي الحب غير الصحيح بالزواج تكون المأساة، خاصة بالنسبة لفتاة صغيرة مراهقة تحيا حياة رومانسية. لا تعرف شيئا عن الحياة، لم تتضح بعد، فقط تنتظر الفارس الذي سيأتيها على حصانه الأبيض. هذه المأساة الكارثية حدثت للأميرة فتحية شقيقة الملك فاروق ملك مصر. وابنة الملكة نازلي أمها وأم فاروق، لينتهي الأمر بفضيحة لم يشهدها العالم من قبل، لا سيما وأن الفارس الذي تخيلته، لم يكن سوى شاب عابث ماجن،صعلوك دس لها السم في العسل فابتعلته دون أن تدري، ومما زاد الطين بلة وجعل الفضيحة تهز عرش مصر أن الشاب على غير دين فتحية، وكان مرافقا للملكة الأم والأميرة في رحلة علاج الملكة، وموظفا بسيطا في الخارجية، أوكلت إليه مهمة فأوقع الملكة العابثة الماجنة، صاحبة السجل الكبير من الفضائح في حبائله.
