كان قد وصل الي الطرقة المؤدية الي غرف النوم ، ابواب الغرف كلها مفتوحة ، لم تكن الصالة وحدها هي ما تم انتهاكها ، وصل الي الحمام وهو يتجه للغرفة ليجد ان قدميه قد واطأتا شيئ سائلا لتصدر صوت مثل صوت مرورك ببركة مياه ضحلة في الشارع .. نظر الي قدميه ، كان هناك بعض الضوء يأتي الان من الخارج من خلال نوافذ الغرف ، هل هو يتوهم ام ان ما يقف فيه الان وهي بركة من الدماء ؟ استمر في التحديق في ذلك السائل الذي يقف فيه وقد زادت سرعة ضربات قلبه حتي صار يشعر بكل نبضه في جانب رأسه ، رفع رأسه الي الباب الشبه مغلق ورأي بقع داكنة تلوثه ، لا بد انها اثار دماء ، مد يدا مرتجفة ثم تراجع وقد فقد السيطرة تماما عليها ، تسمر مكانه لا يدري ماذا يفعل ثم استجمع ما تبقي لديه من شجاعة وقام بدفع الباب مرة واحدة ..
