يتولى حاليا رئاسة تحرير كتب الأطفال بدار الهلال

ليس الكتاب هو الأول من نوعه في المكتبة العربية، بل الأول من نوعه الذي يفرد مثل هذه الصفحات عن الأدب العربي المكتوب بالفرنسية فى كل الوطن العربي وخارجه، ويؤكد المؤلف أن الأدباء العرب الذين يكتبون بالفرنسية قد ظلموا كثيراً في أوطانهم، من جوانب عديدة، منها مقياس حركة الترجمة من ناحية ومنها النظرة إليهم نظرة بها ريبة واضحة، وقصدية كأن هذا الكاتب الذي قد اتخذ لنفسه لغة تعبير هي أساساً للمستعمر قد جنح بذلك إلى العمالة !! وهو تصور ساذج .
وقد حاول الكتاب أن يرصد بانوراميًا، الكثير من الأسماء المهمة ،وإلقاء الأضواء على أبرز الأسماء في بلادها، من خلال البحث والتحليل والرصد لهذا الأدب.
