ما الكذب:
الكذب .. بصفة عامة هو قول مخالف للحقيقة والواقع ..أو تحريف الكلام ..أو الابتداع ..أو المبالغة فيما لم يحدث ..
أو هو قول زور يهدف إلى تزوير الوقائع حتى يستفيد شخص أو أشخاص من وراء هذا الكذب في مقابل شخص أو مجموعة من الأشخاص سوف يكونوا الخاسرين من وراء هذا الكذب.
( فالكذب هو ذكر شيء غير حقيقي مع معرفة بأنه كذب .. والنية فيه تكون الغش أو خداع شخص آخر من أجل الحصول على فائدة أو من أجل تجنب أشياء غير سارة) .
"" والكذب هو أن يقول الطفل كلامًا غير صحيح مع معرفته التامة بذلك , بغرض المنفعة الخاصة أو تجنب العقاب .""
وكذلك يمكن تعريف الكذب بأنه:
" مخالفة القول للواقع وهو من أبشع العيوب والجرائم ومصدر الشرور والآثام ... قال تعالى "" .... إِنَّ اللهَ لاَ يَهْدِي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ " ( غافر 28)
.. والطفل قبل الرابعة قد يقول كلامًا غير صحيح ولكن علينا ألا نعتبر هذا الحديث كذبًا وذلك لأن الطفل في هذا العمر يتميز بــ:
1) عجز اللغة وعدم القدرة على التعبير: فقد يعبر الطفل عن أي رجل يراه بكلمة ( بابا ) في حين أنه رأى والده , فهذا ليس كذبًا , ولكنه عجز عن التعبير وعدم فهم ما يقصده الطفل.
2) عدم القدرة على التمييز بين الخيال والواقع: ويحدث ذلك أثناء اللعب الإيهامي إذ يتخيل الطفل أشياء كثيرة ثم يقولها كأنها حقيقة.
3) التفسير الخاطئ للأمور: وذلك عندما يرى الطفل شيئًا أو حادثًا ويحكيه بشكل خاطئ كأنه يرى مناقشة بين شخصين فيقول أنهما يتشاجران ، وهذه ليست أكاذيب لأنه لا يعلم أنه يكذب كما أنه لا يقصد من وراء كذبه منفعة , ولكنه يحكي ما حدث من خلال ما رآه هو بأعينه كطفل.
