جاءت إلى عيادتي امرأة في الخامسة والثلاثين من العمر أنيقة على درجة متوسطة من الجمال، جلست أمامي .. بدا عليها الاكتئاب والقلق والمعاناة المضطربة، وبادرتني بقولها: جئت إليك يا دكتورة كي تساعديني في علاج ابني الذي بلغ السابعة من العمر وهو غير متجاوب في دراسته، يهرب من المدرسة، عنيد، غير مطيع، يميل إلى المشاكسة وإيذاء الآخرين، لا يستمع إلى أي توجيه .. لقد ضقت به ذرعًا، حتى إن والده يقوم بضربه أحيانًا ضربًا مبرحًا ولكن دون جدوى!
فقلت لها: أرجو أن تذكري لي تاريخ حياة طفلك منذ الحمل به حتى وقتنا هذا، مع ذكر الأحداث والظروف التي مر بها خلال هذه الفترة بالتفصيل.
فقالت: إنه الطفل الثاني في الترتيب بالنسبة لإخوته، وقد سعدنا لقدومه إلى أبعد حد حيث أننا كنا متشوقين إلى ولادة ابن لنا، لأن الطفل الأول كان بنتًا، كانت صحته الجسمية والنفسية أثناء الحمل جيدة .. وولادته سهلة غير متعثرة، وكانت طفولته طبيعية من ناحية النمو في المشي والكلام ...الخ، وكان يبدو عليه الذكاء، وكأنه أكبر من سنه، إلا أن حالته الصحية كانت من الدقة بحيث تحتاج ملاحظة دائمة وعناية خاصة، فكان يلقى هذه العناية أثناء السنوات الأولى التي قضاها في البيت مع أخته التي تكبره بعام واحد.
.. ولما بلغ الرابعة من العمر ألحقناه بالفرقة الأولى بقسم الروضة فأظهر تقدمًا مطردًا، وفي نهاية العام نُقل إلى الفرقة الثانية، وكان خلال هذه الفترة يظهر شغفًا قويًا بالمدرسة، وإقبالاً كبيرًا مما سعدنا ذلك كثيرًا وشكرنا الله ليوفقنا في هذه الناحية وأدخل على أنفسنا الكثير من الاطمئنان ولكن إعجابنا بذكائه في هذه السن جعلنا نستغل ذكاءه في توفير السنة الثانية من سنتي الروضة وإعداده إلى السنة الأولى الابتدائية مباشرة.
