ديوان زهو البنفسج كديوان شعري بالفصحى والذي نظمه الشاعر طيلة 20 عاما أثناء دراسته في اليمن ومصرويتناول أهم القضايا والموضوعات الشعرية التي نثرها الشاعر في قصائده، ومن أهم تلك القضايا مجموعة من قصائد التضرع لله عز وجل بمعاناة حقيقية، وقصائد التصوف ومجموعة من قصائد المديح النبوي التي أرجو أن تبرهن حب الشاعر للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وكذلك مجموعة من القصائد الوطنية والعربية التي تجسد السلام والتلاحم العربي والوحدة العربية، وأهم قضاياه والتي تأتي في مقدمتها القدس في الواقع والحق، ويتضمن الديوان مجموعة فائقة من قصائد الغزل العذري العفيف التي تحكي عشقا لا ينضب وقد قيلت بعض قصائد هذا الديوان في العديد من المحافل الرسمية والخاصة ونالت الاستحسان والتقدير وروجعت من كبار شعراء اليمن ومصر، كما نالت مصر قصيدة أرجو أن تكون قد عبرت عن بعض ما تمثله مصر كدعامة أساسية وكأم للدنيا
