كتابٌ في الأدب والشعر للكاتبة مي زيادة، تناولت فيه سيرة حياة الأديبة المصريّة ملك حفني ناصف، متنقّلةً بين تفاصيل حياتها الخاصّة، وحياتها كأديبة، كما تحدّثت عن الطريقة التي تعرّفت عليها بها بشكل مباشر بعيدًا عن أُطر المراسلات والتواصل كأديبتين، وذكرت أنها نسيت ساعةَ يدٍ تخصّها في مكان لدى ناصف، ممّا حدى بهما أن يلتقيا كي تُعيد الأمانة، ثمّ تطوّرت العلاقة إلى صلةٍ أكثر قربًا.
هذه العلاقة التي دفعت مي زيادة كي تكتب عن حياة الأديبة ناصف، وهي أوّل امرأة عربية يلمع اسمها في مجال الخطابة في العصر الحديث، وبرعت في نقل أفكارها من خلال بوح الكتابة بلغة واضحةٍ جزلة، فقدّمت مي زيادة في كتابها هذا دراسةً نقديّة لتجربة الأديبة ببناء متين..
تناولت فيما كتبت تأثير ناصف على الوسط الثقافي المصري آنذاك، وتحدّثت عن تجربتها الأدبيّة الثريّة التي كان لها طابعٌ خاص كامرأةٍ من نساء قلائل تتصدّر أسماؤهنّ عالم الأدب، كما أنها إلى جانب ذلك كانت مصلحةً اجتماعيّة، وهي بنت اللغوي الشهير حفني ناصف.
