من أعمال الكاتب إبراهيم رمزي، تدور أحداثها حول فتاةٍ بدويّة تسكن الصّحراء، أُغرمَ بها خليفةٌ فاطمي وهو«الآمر بأحكام الله الفاطمي»، بعدما أخبرته جاريته عنها، وأغرته بها. كان معروفًا بحبّه للبدويّات، وحينما وقعت عينه عليها أحبّها، وخاض صراعاتٍ شتّى كي ينالَها، لكنّه لم يستطع أن يتملّك قلبَها، فقد كانت شغوفةً بحبّ ابن عمّها، الذي كان يقابلها دون علم أبيها بذلك.
كانت الجارية تسعى إلى قتْل الخليفة، من خلال مخطّطٍ رسمتْه ينطوي على استغلال الفتاة البدويّة في تنفيذه. هنا تعرض الرّواية جانبًا من التناقض في مواقف المجتمع البدوي، مثلَ موقف الفتاة، إذ رفضتْ التآمرَ على الخليفة، بالرغم من رغبتها في الانتقام منه، وموقف والدها كذلك، الذي ظلّ مطيعًا للخليفة مع أنه يكرهه. كما عرضت المسرحيّة مشاهدًا من الصراع على الخلافة، والذي قد نشب إبّان حكم الفاطميّين.
عُرضت المسرحيّة للمرّة الأولى على مسرح «برنتانيا» عام 1918، وأدّته فرقة عبد الرّحمن رشدي، ثمّ نشر إبراهيم رمزي نص المسرحيّة في كتاب مستقل عام 1922.
