من قال إنّ الفيزيائي الذي يسبر أعماق الطبيعة، لا ينظم الشِعر. الفيزيائي لا يرى جمال الزهرة في بهجة ألوانها فقط، بل يرى جماليتها في أعماق تركيبتها الكونية وفي أعماق نفثاتها العطرية النابعة من تكوين كينونتها في ذاتها، حيث يتكوّن الملتقى بين العقل والروحانية والعاطفة معاً. وهذا ينطبق على كلّ هذا الوجود، وإلاّ نبقى قشوراً في أحضان هذه الحياة... الحياة مسرحٌ واسع الأفق، تُمثل عليه الإنسانية دور المصير، ودور الموت والحياة. وكلٌ منا على هذا المسرح له حقل خاص به وبعلاقاته وأدواره. تمثل الحياة الإنسانية دور المأساة بكل أمانة وبكل ما فيها من دقة التعقيد. إذن أنا لي دوري أيضاً في هذه المسرحية الكبرى، سأقصُّ جزءاً منه على نفسي:
