عتيق رحيمي (بالفرنسية: Atiq Rahimi ) (ولد 1962م، كابل) هو كاتب أفغاني، يكتب باللغتين الفارسية والفرنسية كما هو مخرج أفلام، من أسرة ليبرالية، وبعد الاجتياح السوفييتي لأفغانستان، وانهيار النظام السياسي غادر إلى فرنسا، حيث أتم دراسته وحصل على الدكتوراه في الاتصالات البصرية، وفي عام 2008 حاز على جائزة غنكور، الجائزة الفرنسية الأدبية الأبرز، عن روايته "حجر الصبر".وجائزة الادب الفارسي في إيران في 2010 عن روايته الأرض والرماد.

"يختزل الكاتب الأفغاني عتيق رحيمي مأساة بلاده في غرفة ضيّقة حيث تسهر امرأة شابة على راحة زوجها، الذي كان مجاهداً في أكثر الحروب عبثيّة، بعد أن أصيب بطلقة ناريّة في رقبته. عينا الرجل مفتوحتان وجسده الهامد غارق في غيبوبة عنفه وآثامه، والمرأة تتلو على وقع تنفسّه صلواتها وأسماء الله الحسنى.
يغدو الرجل الغائب عن العالم حجر صبرها، وتغدو المرأة شهرزاد الأفغانيّة التي يتدفّق من فمها المطبق سيلٌ من الكلمات اللاذعة، المشحونة برغباتٍ دفينة. تدخل في مصارحة جريئة ومناجاة هذيانيّة مع زوجها وتبوح له بأسرارها الأكثر خطورةً، متحدّيةً خوفها وخضوعها..."
