يمتد من أمامي شاطئ تخترق صفحته صخور مكسوة بشعب مرجانية، كرؤوس مقطوعة تطوف من حولها أسراب سمك فضية، تعكس أشعة شمس تتوسد السماء.
من حولي تتناثر أشلاء جثث منزوعة الرأس، جسد مصلوب محترق في المنتصف، ينهار الجسد رمادًا على الأرض، يتجمع الرماد مشكلا جسدًا لطفلة في الوضع الجنيني، تصرخ الطفلة صرخة قصيرة، تفتح عينيها، تتدحرج يسارًا ويمينًا، إلى أن تبدأ في الحبو، تتحرك في اتجاه البحر، يتحول حَبوُها إلى سير غير متوازن، إلى أن تقف على قدميها، مع ملامسة الماء للشاطئ.
تستمر الطفلة في النمو مع تقدمها في الماء، الذي كلما لامس جزءًا جديدًا منها، تنضج معه، إلى أن أصبحت امرأة مع وصول الماء إلى منتصفها، استدارت بنصفها العلوي إلى الشاطئ، مبتسمة لي، ترافقها أسماك ملونة مختلفة الحجم، تحوم حولها، مع تقدمها في الماء والعمر يبدأ شعرها في التحول إلى الفضي، مع تغطية الماء لنهديها، يزداد بياض شعرها، مع انحناء رأسها، إلى أن غُمِرَت تماما في الماء.
تنسحب الشمس مسرعة نحو الغرب، يسطع مع ذلك الغروب الكثير من الأقمار، تمتلئ السماء بها، تتوسط المسافات بين الأقمار ستائر من النجوم، تصل بين كل قمر وآخر، تتغير ألوان الأقمار إلى الأحمر، الأزرق، البنفجسي، ويظل قمر- هو الأبعد- على لونه الأبيض، الذي يبدأ في التحول تدريجيا إلى الرمادي.
تقترب الأقمار من سطح الأرض، تستمر في الاقتراب، إلى أن تصبح في مواجهتي، تتوقف للحظات، قبل أن تندفع جميعا، في سرعة فائقة تجاهي، وتتحد فيّ.
