ما كتابي هذا إلا محاولة، وخطوة متواضعة على طريق التجديد والنقد والنظر العقلي في الفكر الديني بعيدًا عن الأوهام والنصوص والشروح القديمة التي تكتنفه، ومن نافلة القول؛ إن الطريق ما تزال طويلة عسيرة، ملأى بأشواك الجمود، وتقليد كهنة الدين وسدَنَة نصوصه؛ فهي خطوة أوّلية ستتبعها خطوات إن قـدَّر الله ذلك وشاء، فعليه وحده قصدُ السبيل.
