كثيرة هي المسائل التي تضعنا داخل دائرة التأويل، وتحيلنا إلى المشكلات المرتبطة به وتفتح أمامنا آفاقا غير متوقعة للفهم والقراءة، وكثيرة هي الفلسفات التي تجد نفسها تمارس اللعبة التأويلية، بيد أن أنماط التداخل بين هذه الفلسفات وتلك، ترتكز على مقاربة معرفية معاصرة، إنها الأبحاث اللغوية والفلسفية المعاصرة، وذلك باختلاف مرجعياتها ومناهجها وكذا الغاية المتحصل عليها.
وبما أن التحديدات والتصنيفات تستعير سبلها من طبيعة موضوعاتها، فكذلك هو الفهم باعتباره جوهر الممارسة التأويلية، فهو يتشكل بموجب الحقل الذي نما فيه، وأسّس الأسس، وعيّن المنطلقات المفهومية والأداتية، ولأن الحقول تختلف وتتمايز فيما بينها، فإن التأويل يتخذ طابعا اختلافيا منذ مراحل النشأة الأولى. ثم أنه مع تداخل التيارات الفكرية والإيديولوجية، لم يعد من السهل الإلمام بكل ما يشكل تعريفا موحدا له، باعتباره بحثًا دؤوبا في كل أشكال الفهم والإدراك.
لا يعد التأويل نظرية متعالية بقدر ما هو تساؤل عن الوجود من حولنا، تساؤلٌ تفرضه حالة حضورنا المبهم في العالم، فهو قديم قدم الفكر ذاته، باعتبار أن أولى لحظات لقائنا بالواقع تفرض أشكالا من التصور، وبالتالي تحيل إلى ضرورة الإدراك والفهم والقراءة ومن ثم التأويل، ولأن التأويل يتخذ طابعا خلافيا باختلاف التصور وأداة التفسير وقراءة المعنى، فإن دروبه تتشعب بين مختلف الاتجاهات التي لا سبيل لحصرها كالفقه، الفلسفة، وفلسفة اللغة بمختلف تياراتها، وكذا الأدب، والفن ثم السيمياء وغيرها من حقول المعرفة، والتي تقتضي حضور التأويل قراءة للتجربة الرمزية المحايثة، ومن هذا الباب يتزايد الاهتمام بالتأويل في ظل تعدد الرؤى واختلاف المقاربات النقدية على صعيد الثقافة المعاصرة.
