فلا شأن لي بالسياسة، ولا فلاسفة السياسة، تأتي ثورة، تذهب ثورة، و أنا كما أنا لن أزيد أو أنقص، ولا علم لي إلا بثورة البحر والرياح و المطر، ولم أعلق آمالي يومًا إلا على سطوة النور، فنور القمر إذا عمّ البحر انعدم الصيد و نضب الرزق، و اختفى الخبز، ونُكست القلاع لكن في البيت يزيد الدفء وتنفلق الحكايات من بين شقوقه، إما إذا غاب النور وعمّ الظلام يصبح الصيد عيدًا يكثر معه الرزق، وتشد القلاع، وتتبارى المجاديف حتى تعود محملة بالخير، فرزقي معلق دائمًا بين السماء و الماء، ولا دخل لي بما يدور على الأرض، ولا بأهلها، و لن يختفي البؤساء من الأرض أبدًا حتى لو قامت كل يوم ثورة.. فالثورة لا تحول الأرض إلى جنة، ولا تحول الناس إلى ملائكة، بل تخلق أملًا للبسطاء، وتخلق مع الأمل طغاة جدد، يأكلون كل شيء، ويتركون للناس الفتات، حتى يموت الزرع ويجف النبع ويتساقط الناس جوعًا، فتقوم ثورة أخرى، ليأتي طغاة آخرون أكثر شبابًا و عنفوانًا، فالثورة ليست النهاية الرائعة التي يجب أن نصفق لها في كل مرة.
