كثيراً ما أثرأ قصص الكرامات فيتبدى لي الفكه فيها واضحاً صارخاً يقارب النادرة هزءاً وإضحاكاً غير أنّ هالة القداسة سرعان ما تقشع الفكة إما لبيان مغبة القدح في هذا البعد التقديسي في حدث الكرامة أو لبيان مغبّة القدح في هذا البعد. ولهذا لطالما بدت الكرامة قصّة مشوشة فلا هي فكّة محض ولا هي تقديس محض. إنها جماع فكة وتقديس وتحميق وتندر وولاية ومنن وسفاهة وعي وتعقّل... أليست هذه الوجوه مجتمعة ومتداخلة صورة من حياة الإنسان، يشدّه التظرّف والتندر حينا والتديّن والقداسة أحيانا أُخر فينسج ذلك كله في مسرودات جمّة الكرامة إحداها؟
وإنّ الفكه في قصّة الكرامة إمتاع وأشباع، هو نشدان للتأثير في ألطف دلالاته تقديسا أو تحميقا، ونشدان لتمام القدرة وكمالها تخييلا أو توهيماً، وعلى طرفي هذه المفارقة العجيبة ينساب القصّ في الكرامة مقيّد الخطو في الألفاظ طليق العدو في الدلالات، احتفاء بالتجربة الصوفيّة وتخففا من ووطأة السّنن والضوابط.... ولهذا تحديدا كانت من أكثر المسرودات ذيوعا واستقطابا للاهتمام، لا لغرابتها وخيالها الجامع فحسب، بل لأنّ النقصان فيها قادر على التمام والقلّة قريبة من الكثرة والبعيد قريب والإرادة نافذة والمشيئة أمرٌ... فالعطش ينقلب ارتواء والجوع امتلاء وتتعاظم الهمم حتى تصغر أمامها العظائم... وفي خضمّ ذلك ينشأ الفكه تلذذاً وأملاً باذخا للتعساء.
إنها تكشف زيف الواقع المعيش وتفاهته، بل وإخفاقه في تلبية أكثر طموحات الصوفي نبلاً، كما تكشف عن وجود إمكانية معيّنة لتجاوز هذا الواقع والتعالي عليه، وهذا التجاوز المتحقّق بالكرامة هو أُسّ الاختلاف في تقييمها.
وبهذا الاستتباع كلّما كانت قصّة الكرامة موغلة في التخييل والتعجيب وأغزر خيالا وخروقا تضاعفت المتعة المستحصلة منها، أمّا إذا كانت قريبة من الطبيعة المألوفة والتشويق فيها باهت، تولد الضجر من الحدث ومن صنيع الولي فيه. وليس أقلّ أهميّة من هذا الجانب، ذلك النفس الهزلي الساخر أو المرير الذي تتسم به كرامات جمّة.
