على متن الطائرة العائدة من لندن إلى أبو ظبي، تلتقي "صبحا بنت الريح" بمحمد الذي أحبّها شاباً، حين كانت لا تزال ترهن نفسها لابن خالها "راشد"، رفيقها في نزهات دريب الغاويات. مصادفةٌ تعيد إليها الحياة الماضية. هي ابنة "الريح" الذي هجر والدتها قبل أن يعرف بحملها، لتنشأ بعد موت والدتها في كنف خالٍ أصبح أباً لها. يأخذ السيل صديقتها عائشة، ويهجرها راشد، وتسجن روبي متهمةً بقتل صديقتهما حمدة، وتجد صبحا نفسها مسؤولةً عن ولدي راشد بعد موته. ليعود محمد اليوم مؤكّداً صدق مشاعره التي لم تتبدّل تجاهها، فتجد نفسها مجدداً في دوامة الخيار بين مصلحتها الشخصية وبين مصالح آخرين ارتبطت مصائرهم بها.
