نازك سابا يارد (مواليد عام 1928) كاتبة فلسطينية يحفل رصيدها بعشرات الكتب في مجال النقد الأدبي، تناولت فيها شعراء عرب من مختلف المدارس والعصور من العباسي أبي نواس إلى شاعر المهجر اللبناني الياس أبو شبكة.
وقد اعتُمدَت أطروحتها 'الرحالون العرب وحضارة الغرب في النهضة العربية الحديثة' مرجعًا في جامعة السوربون في فرنسا.
ورغم نجاح كتاباتها النقدية، لم تغفل يارد الكتابة الإبداعية فأصدرت بعض الروايات كما كتبت قصصًا للناشئة بعد أن قضت زهاء ثلاثين عامًا من عمرها في مهنة التدريس.تعيش اليوم في بيروت وهي عضو في 'تجمع الباحثات اللبنانيات'.
Book Description
إن ما شجعني الآن على تدوين سيرتي أن أولادي وأحفادي المنتشرين في بلاد الدنيا لا يعرفون شيئاً عن ماضي، أي عن جزء من ماضيهم هم، ومن لا يعرف ماضيه لا يعرف نفسه حقاً. وقد اتضحت لي صحة ذلك لدى النبش في ماضي أنا، إذ اكتشفت عن نفسي أموراً لم أكن أعيها ولم تكن قد خطرت لي ببال.
وأيّاً كانت القيمة الفنية لسيرتي الذاتية، تبقى لها، بكل تأكيد، قيمة الأمانة في النقل والصدق تجاه الذات والآخر، وقيمة إلقائها ضوءاً على الحياة الاجتماعية والسياسية في الحقبة التي عشتها. وتكون لها، فوق ذلك، قيمة تدوينها جزءاً من تاريخ عائلتي التي هي نموذج عن عائلات عاشت بين فلسطين ولبنان في القرنين العشرين والحادي والعشرين."
نازك سابا يارد روائية لبنانية وباحثة في الفكر والأدب العربيين، وعضو في تجمع الباحثات اللبنانيات. أسهمت في إطلاق حركة الدفاع عن المرأة اللبنانية ضد العنف المنزلي. لها عدد من الكتب النقدية والروايات، منها تقاسيم على وتر ضائع (نالت جائزة أفضل رواية مترجمة إلى الإنكليزية)، بعيداً عن ظل القاعة (جائزة جمعية المكتبات اللبنانية)، الرحّالون العرب وحضارة الغرب (نقد).
