تعظيم الشعوب المسلمة للنصوص الشرعية هو من أقوى وسائل الحفاظ على هوية وثقافة هذه المجتمعات، وحين تتمكن اللصوصية الثقافية من كسر هذا السياج والدخول بعدها في عمق النص لممارسة العبث والتأويل للأحكام والمفاهيم الشرعية؛ فإن هذا مؤشر خطر وبلاء سيحل بمفاهيم الناس وقيمهم من حيث لا يشعرون. لا حل أمام هذه اللصوصية الثقافية إلا بتكاتف العلماء والمثقفين، على كشف هذه الممارسات العبثية وإزالة الأقنعة التي تخفي عوارها، وإعلان المفاصلة التامة مع أفكار التأويل والتحريف للنصوص الشرعية؛ بحيث يكون حالها كحال المعطل والمنكر، بل أشد من ذلك، وأن يكون واضحا لدى الوعي المسلم أن الاستدلال بالنص الشرعي ليس دائما علامة اتباع واستهداء، بل كثيرا ما يكون توظيفا يراد به تحويل النص من كونه حلا لمشكلات الثقافة العصرية إلى جعله مشكلة يتخلص منها للدخول في ثقافة العصر. وهذه موضوعات متفرقة تسلط الضوء على صورة من أحداث هذه المعركة، وتعالج في أثنائها عددا من القضايا الشرعية والفكرية.
