Book Description
بعث الله عز وجل محمداً صلى الله عليه وسلم بالدين القويم، والصراط المستقيم، أقام به الملة، وهدى به البشرية، وأوضح سبيل. وقد افترض الله على العباد طاعته، وتوقيره، ومحبه، وإتباع سنته. فعلى هذا وجب على كل مسلم الوقوف على سيرته عليه السلام، ودراستها دراسة دقيقة، والوقوف على أطوارها.
وكتب السيرة كثيرة من أشهرها: "السيرة النبوية لابن إسحاق" وقد هذبها الإمام ابن هشام الأنصاري فصار هذا الأخير هو أساس لما بعده. وهناك "السيرة النبوية للإمام ابن كثير"، وهي من أحسن تلك السير وأنفعها في ميدانها. فقد تكلم على بعض الروايات من جهة الإسناد فجاءت صحيحة منقحة من الشوائب إلا أنها كبيرة الحجم. وجاء أخيراً العلامة محمد بن عبد الوهاب المتوفي سنة 1206هـ بتهذيب واختصار للسيرة النبوية، والاقتصار على الثابت منها وما هو مشهور، فجاء كتابه صغيراً في حجمه إلا أنه غزير في علمه. يحتاجه الطالب المبتدي، ولا يستغني عنه الطالب المنتهي.
ولما كان هذا الكتاب من أهم الكتب الموجزة للسيرة النبوية فقد اعتنى "عبد الرزاق المهدي" بتحقيقه حيث اهتم أولاً: بتخريج الأحاديث والأخبار الواردة فيه. مع الكلام على الأسانيد باختصار. ثانياً: تخريج الآيات وذلك بذكر السورة ورقم الآية. ثالثاً: شرح الكلمات الغريبة، وإصلاح ما وقع فيه من تحريف وتصحيف، والتعريف ببعض الأعلام والأماكن.
