وصف كتاب مجلس التعاون الخليجي في مثلث الوراثة والنفط والقوى الأجنبية تأليف (يوسف خليفة اليوسف)
عالج المؤلِّف، بالتحليل والتوثيق والنقد، الأسباب الكامنة وراء فشل بلدان مجلس التعاون الخليجي في تحقيق التنمية والأمن، عبر أكثر من أربعة عقود. وهو يرجع هذا الفشل إلى وقوع هذه المنطقة في مثلث مفرغ، أضلاعه هي النُظُم السياسية الوراثية التي تمتلك ثروة نفطية طائلة، وتفتقد الرقابة المجتمعية، وتعتمد على القوى الأجنبية. وبالتالي، فإن الخروج من هذا المثلث يتطلب تصحيح مسار هذه البلدان، وذلك باستبدال أضلاع المثلث الحالية بثلاثة أضلاع أخرى، حيث يتم استبدال النُظَم الوراثية الحالية بنُظُم فيها حرية ومشاركة ومساءلة، واستبدال الاعتماد المفرط على النفط ببناء إنسان منتج، واستبدال الوجود الأجنبي بتكامل إقليمي، وتكامل مع المحيطين العربي والإسلامي . وفي السياق النقدي، يرى المؤلِّف أن محور المسألة برمّتها هو غياب المشاركة السياسية وما تعنيه من مساءلة ومحاسبة وتمحيص لسياسات حكومات هذه البلدان، وترشيد لقراراتها المختلفة – هذا الغياب جعل مسيرة التنمية في هذه البلدان تتصف بالتخبط والفشل، ذلك في الوقت الذي أدت فيه سياساتها الأمنية إلى مزيد من عدم الاستقرار، وإلى إضعاف النظام الإقليمي العربي الذي يعتبر صمّام أمان لأمنها وازدهارها، وما نتج من ذلك من تدخل سافر للقوى الأجنبية في شؤون المنطقة، إضافة إلى اختلال موازين القوى لصالح إسرائيل في دائرة النظام الإقليمي العربي، ولصالح إيران في منطقة الخليج العربي
