تدور احداث هذه الحكاية التى تروى بلسان الشيطان الابيض أو ساكن القمر كما تسميه حيوانات البحيرة والذى ما هو إلا طائر البوم؛ حول الزمن العتيق؛ وأخبار العالم القديم قبل تشكّل بحيرة التماسيح؛ عندما عاشت فى نفس المكان أشجار الموه العملاقه التى تتكلّم بلغة الموه المقدّسة لغة كل الكائنات و الحيوانات؛ وهى تتبع كيف هلكت تلك الغابة بذنب الخطيئة الأولى التى اقترفها قطيع قردة البابون؛ و كيف وقعت الحرب بين "نالينوس" و"هور" وسان راى" الذين تحالفوا جميعًا ضد غابة الموه!
