إن كتاب الباحث سهيل الحبيّب بعنوان "المفاهيم الأيديولوجية في مجرى حراك الثورات العربية" مساهمة في تحليل الإشكالات التي ظهرت في سياق الحراك الثوري العفوي، ومحاولة لفهم الثغرات التي انبثقت في خضم هذه الثورات، ولا سيما في الثورة التونسية، والتي من شأنها إذا لم تردم أن تطيح جميع الإنجازات وتجهضها.
ويتجنب الكتاب الطريقة الوصفية التمجيدية للثورات العربية، خصوصاً التونسية، وبجانب الكلام التهليلي الذي حفلت به الكتابات العربية، خصوصاً في ميدان الصحافة ويحاول ان يعرض اشكالات تحليلية انبثقت في مجرى الحراك الشعبي العفوي واتخذت شكلها المعرفي في خضم التفكير في المصاعب التي واجهت عملية الانتقال الديموقراطي كالتخوف من أن يتحول الانفتاح السياسي الى ثغرة تنفجر من خلالها الاتجاهات الانقسامية ما يهدد كيان الدولة نفسه، او تتصادم في سياقه الديموقراطية بما تعنيه من اولوية تأسيس نظام سياسي قائم على سلطات ثلاث مستقلة وانتخابات حرة وحريات والوطنية بما تعنيه من اولوية بناء الدولة العصرية.
خمسة فصول هي أساساً أوراق بحثية نشرها "المركز العربي للأبحاث ودراسة السياسات" كتبت خلال عامين ونصف العام عقب ثورة 14 كانون الثاني 2011 في تونس، تشترك في موضوعات اشتغالها ومسلكها المنهجي وخلفياتها الاكاديمية والنظرية والنقدية. وتعتمد على منهج قوامه مسار في التحليل يراوح بين المجريات الوقائعية للثورات العربية عموماً، والثورة التونسية ومخاضها الانتقالي من جهة، والطروحات الايديولوجية العربية المعاصرة من جهة أخرى.
ويعرض الكتاب رؤية متكاملة ترى أن ثمة خطرًا من ظهور اتجاهات انقسامية في سياق الانفتاح السياسي، أو أن تتصادم أولوية بناء الديمقراطية مع "الوطنية" التي تعني أولوية بناء الدولة، ولذلك ينبغي للانتقال الديمقراطي أن يفضي إلى تحوّل مجتمعي متكامل يشمل، في الوقت نفسه، إعادة بناء الأمة والدولة والمجتمع المدني وقيم المواطنة.
