عزلة الخيال وصدفة الواقع
في عالمه الفقير، بنى "مارك" قلعةً من الأوهام. فمن فرط فقره وخياله الواسع، آثر العزلة والانكفاء على نفسه، يعزف عن شواغل الدنيا من زواج أو علاقة. كان قلبه أسيرَ لوحة مرسومة في أغوار عقله، لامرأةٍ مثالية اجتمعت فيها كل صفات الجمال والكمال، فأخلص لها إخلاصَ العاشق لمعشوقةٍ لا تُرى. لكنّ الأقدار، التي لا ترحم، شاءت أن تُخيّم الظلمة على حياته. ففقد أخته الصغيرة التي كانت شعاع نور في ظلمته، ثم حُمِّل بفقدان والده، فتهاوى تحت وطأة الأحزان، وغاص في عزلة أشدّ مرارة.وفي قمة انكساره، وبمحض الصدفة التي لا تعترف بمنطق الخيال، وقعت عيناه على تلك المرأة التي سكنت أحلامه سنين. لكنّ القدر ساقها إليه في لحظةٍ كان فيها رمادًا بلا جمر، فالتقى الحلم بالواقع في توقيتٍ أشبه بالطعنة.ثم جاء التحول. غادر مارك مدينته الحزينة إلى أخرى تَعدُ بالبدايات. هناك، حيث لا خطط ولا توقعات، دخلت فتاةٌ إلى عالمه بهدوء، فأحدثت فيه ضجيجًا مختلفًا. تزوجها، لا لأنها حلم قديم، بل لأنها كانت الحاضر الذي فرض نفسه بلطف.وسرعان ما انقلبت الأيام، وأصبح مارك اسمًا لامعًا وثراءً واسعًا. وفي ذروة المجد، اكتشف المفارقة العظيمة: أن القلب الذي ظلّ يدور في فلك خيالٍ بعيد، قد استقرّ أخيرًا عند امرأةٍ حقيقية، تشاركه تفاصيل الحياة لا أوهامها. فوجد في واقعها الدافئ كلَّ الجمال الذي طالما بحث عنه في قصور خياله البارد.
