وفي كل زاوية من قريتها، كانت توجد قصة تُروى، وكل حجر يحمل حكاية وكأنها تهمس لمرآها أن هناك دائمًا ما يستحق أن يُروى ويُحكى، وأن وراء كل منظر بسيط يكمن سرٌ عظيمٌ ينتظر من يفهمه ويعيه
أما دجلة والفرات فكانا رمزين لكل شيء يرمزان للخصب، وللتاريخ، وللحضارة التي تعانق الأزمان.
