ومما يجدر التنبيه عليه بأن مسألة التوسل تعتبر من مسائل الفقه الظنية التي يسوغ فيها الاختلاف، ومع ذلك رأينا جماهير علماء المسلمين من أتباع المذاهب السنية الأربعة قالوا بجوازه، بل استحبابه، ولذلك نجد أن العلماء السابقين ذكروا هذه المسألة في باب صلاة الاستسقاء أو باب زيارة قبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ولم يعدّوها من مسائل العقائد.
