قضايا الحُب.. فلسفة الرجل وفلسفة المرأة والعلاقات بينهما، هو موضوع الكتاب الذي، كسابقيه، يأخذ هو الآخر مجرًا فكريّ وفلسفيّ. إن صلاح المجتمع لا يكون إلا بصلاح أُسَرهِ، وإن صلاح الأُسَر لا يكون إلا بصلاح العلاقات بين الجِنسين، وهذا لا يكون البتّة إلا بفهم صحيح للذات ثم للآخر. إن فهم الجنس الآخر لهو من الضرورات المُلحّة لتجاوز مايمكننا تجاوزه من مُعيقات ومشاكلَ كانت وما تزال سببًا في خراب كلّ شيءٍ كانَ في الأصلِ جميلًا. لقد شاعَت الكراهيّة وزادَ التباعد بين الجنسين في مجتمعنا، الذي كانَ إلى غاية أوّل أمسِ أكثرَ اعتدالًا، عامِلًا بكثيرٍ من المبادىء الدينية والعُرفيّة. فما الذي تغيّر؟ لمَ نتوجّس من بعضنا البعض انطلاقًا من أفكار مُسبقة؟ لمَ نُطلق أحكامًا على بعضنا بميزانٍ غربيّ؟ ولمَ نتبنّى أيديولوجيّات تُغذّي هذه الوساوس عِوَضَ العملِ على الإصلاح بما لدينا من قِيَم منسيّة، ففي نهاية المَطاف، مصيرنا هو العيش مع بعض البعض، إذا علينا أن نجد حلولًا.
