إن هذا الكتاب ما هو إلا غَيْضٌ مِن فَيْض الدرر الحلية مِن التراث الشّعري الَّتي وقعت تحت مجهري البحثي والأدبي، فما ذكرتهُ في هذا الكتاب هو الأشهر عند الأُدباء وصُنّاعهِ، وقد نرى هُناك في مدينة الحلَّة شُعراء صاعدين لهم في المستقبل القريب الذكر الذائع والأدب اللامع والكلام الرائع؛ هذا لأن تربة هذهِ الأَرض مُنتجة لا تموت، بل تحيى كلما مرّ عليها ماءٌ طهور.. هذا وإني اتضرعُ للعلي القدير أَن يوفقنا للخير والبركة في علمنا وأَن يرشدنا إِلى حرفٍ جديدٍ نكون بهِ خدمةً للعلمِ والعلماء إنهُ سميعٌ مجيب.
