كتاب زناد الفكر يندرج ضمن الأدب الفلسفي، أين ارتأى الكاتب من خلال صفحات مخطوطه أن يغوص في مكنونات الفكر والطبع الانساني خاصة في خضم هذه الصراعات الاجتماعية والفلسفية والثقافية والنفسية التي يعيشها الكائن البشري الذي يتفاعل مع جملة من العوامل التي تؤثر فيه وفي فكره وفي حياته إجمالا.
الكاتب تطرق أيضا إلى المثالية التي جاءت في عديد من كتب قدماء الفلسفة على غرار أفلاطون الذي أدرج هذا الفكر الفلسفي في كتابه “المدينة الفضيلة” وقام الكاتب بإسقاطه على المجتمع الجزائري الذي يعيش فيه مؤكدا من خلال منظوره الفلسفي بأنه “في مجتمع مثالي يكفي الانسان أن يكون طبيعيا.. فقط في المجتمع المليء بالخلل يحتاج المرء أن يكون مثاليا” موضحا من جهة أخرى بأن المثالية هي فريضة على أفراد قلة على غرار الأنبياء والرسل والمصلحين والفلاسفة والروحانيين، ممن تخولهم مثاليتهم إلى ضرورة السيطرة على زمام العالم المختل ومحاولة بسط سلطان العدل على كافة البشر والخلائق
