يوميات من باطن الارض رواية من وحي الخيال تعد الاولى من نوعها ومختلفة عن كل ماسبق من تقديمه عن العلاقة بين الانس والجن , وتدور حول حياة أسرة مكونة من خليط بين الإنس والجان المؤمن أفرزت لنا بنتان جميلتان هما فيروزة واصفهان , الرواية لا تمت بصلة لأي واقع لكنها من الموروثات أو من الحكايات التي تم نقلها عن طريق الرواة أو دونها البعض كتابة فهي وإن كانت تبدو مستحيلة في عالم الإنس إلا أنها قد تكون نادرة الحدوث في عالم أخر كما أن الدافع لكتابتها دافعاً إنسانياً بالدرجة الاولي فهي ليست تجربة شخصية وانما هي من خيالات واقع نعيشه علي سطح الأرض بين جنون ورغبات وجموح الإنسان الذي وصل الي حد التوحش في سبيل البحث عما يتخيله من رفاهية وسعادة .. إن حياة الانسان ستظل جميلة بفقرها قبل غِناها .. بشقاءها قبل رفاهيتها .. وبحبه رغم كراهيته .. وبخيره قبل شره ..
الرواية تقدم مفهوما جديدا للسعادة التي كثيراً ما تأتي متأخرة بعد العناء والشقاء فيكون مذاقها أجمل بكثير من تلك التي تأتي دون عمل وكَد لتُبرهن على أن الانسان أكرم وأذكي المخلوقات ... فقط أفشوا السلام بينكم .. فالسلام نهج البناء .. والبناء مفتاح السعادة.. فعمِروها ولا تخربوها .. إزرعوها حباً تحصدون خيراً.... واي استفسار وأراء مرحب بها ((طارق فريد))
