قال ﷺ في وعظه لأحد الصحابة: «اغْتَنِمْ خَمْسًا قَبْلَ خَمْسٍ: شَبَابَكَ قَبْلَ هَرَمِكَ، وَصِحَّتَكَ قَبْلَ سَقَمِكَ، وَغِنَاكَ قَبْلَ فَقْرِكَ، وَفَرَاغَكَ قَبْلَ شُغْلِكَ، وَحَيَاتَكَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِكَ» (رواه الحاكم وصححه الألباني). وهو توجيه نبوي صريح بضرورة استغلال أوقات الفراغ والشباب في العمل الصالح قبل أن تتغير الظروف
