المجلد هذا من منهاج السنة مهم جدا في مسألة حدوث العالم فقد فصل فيها الشيخ في اكثر من 200 صفحة.

الكتاب يغطي مرحلة الجهاد الافغاني ويتناولها من زاوية واقعية. يقارن الكاتب بين ما قيل للعلن وما كان يحدث في الواقع، متتبعا تاريخ تسلسل الأفكار و تطورها بين الشخصيات.
الكتاب رغم قلة صفحاته إلا انه غني بالمصادر و النقولات.. وواضح جداً مقدار الجهد الذي بذل فيه
