Benchikh Lena is an Algerian writer, poet, and English Literature student from Constantine. Her work blends fiction and poetry, often exploring themes of love, identity, loneliness, and the quiet fractures of everyday life. She is drawn to stories where emotion hides beneath ordinary moments and where silence carries meaning.
All of her stories are part of one unified collection titled The Collection of Tales by the Fireplace, which includes Small Town Yung, The Kingdom of Dirty Teeth, Twin Flames in Waters, and Electric Touch, alongside The Woman in the Porch.
Through this collection, she builds a connected world of fragmented lives and intimate mysteries, where each tale reflects a different angle of the same emotional landscape.
