رواية كابيلا درامية وحقيقة في نفس الوقت. الأحداث مش متكلفة، والشخصيات شبه ناس بنقابلهم كل يوم.
طريقة سرد الكاتبة متوازنة وسلسة، فبتلاقي نفسك مندمج معاهم في الرحلة بدون ما تحس. القضايا اللي بتتناولها معقدة زي : الهجرة الغير الشرعية، الأكل العاطفي وغيره من القضايا الاجتماعية. بس معالجة الموضوعات جاية ببساطة وصدق، من غير فلسفة زيادة.
