نهر أخيلوس (باليونانية: Αχελώος) هو نهر يقع غرب اليونان في حدود مقاطعتي أكارنانيا و أيتوليا وثم يصب في البحر الأيوني، يبلغ طول النهر 220 كلم ويعتبر أطول أنهار اليونان، سمي بهذا الاسم نسبة للإله أخيلوس راعي هذا النهر في الميثولوجيا الاغريقية.
