العصوية الهوائية هو نوع من البكتيريا تم عزله أول مرة من أنابيب التبريد التي تستخدم لجمع عينات الهواء من الارتفاعات العالية ولهذا سميت بالعصوية الهوائية. سلالة النمط الخاص بهذه البكتيريا هي 24K^T (=MTCC 7303^T =JCM 13348^T).
