It was narrated that 'Abd-Allaah ibn 'Abbaas – via Sa'eed ibn Jubayr – said: When I came down: (And warn your closest tribe and Rahtak from them who are faithful) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out until he ascended the serenity and shouted: "O morning, gather to him, and he said: I saw you if I told you that horses go out at the foot of this mountain, would you have believed me?" They said: "We have not tempted you with a lie." He said: "I am a harbinger for you in the hands of severe torment." Abu Lahab said, "Damn you, but you brought us together for this?" Then he arose, and this surah was revealed: The hands of my father are flames and he has repented).)
