- عدَّ حامد حسين الهندي الكاشفي من علماء السنَّة إذ نقل عنه في كتابه عبقات الأنوار وفقاً لما ذكره عنه علي الحسيني الميلاني إذ قال: «نقل عنه صاحب كتاب عبقات الانوار وعدَّه من علماء العامَّة»، وظاهر عبارة الميلاني هو موافقته للهندي.
