In this book, we will be informed of the first step on the road to giving up sins, which is repentance. If a sinner doesn’t repent for what he has done, he won’t be granted infallibility and waviness of sin. God, be he exalted, said: {Those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.}1 The writer then goes on to list a number of deeds, which if adhered to by an individual, will inhibit him/her and thus keep the individual far from sinning. These deeds, which are derived from the advice and counsel of the Prophet’s family (Ahl Al-Beit), are of great interest and significant influence.
The book can thus be very rewarding as it presents a guide to the most important issue in the life of a believer; the relation with God the Great and Almighty
