الدير الأحمر أو دير الأنبا بيشاي والأنبا بيجول، يقع غرب سوهاج بحوالي 12 كم، ويبعد عن دير الأنبا شنودة الشهير بالدير الأبيض، بحوالي 4 كم تقريبًا، ويرجع بنائه إلى القرن الرابع الميلادي.
