خالد بن عبد الله بن أبي بكر بن محمد الجرجاويّ الأزهري، زين الدين، وكان يعرف بالوقاد: نحوي، من أهل مصر. ولد بجرجا (من الصعيد) ونشأ وعاش في القاهرة.
وتوفي عائدا من الحج قبل أن يدخلها. له (المقدمة الأزهرية في علم العربية - ط) و (موصل الطلاب إلى قواعد الإعراب - ط) و (شرح الأجرومية - ط) و (التصريح بمضمون التوضيح - ط) في شرح أوضح المسالك إلى ألفية ابن مالك، و (شرح البردة - ط) و (شرح مقدمة الجزرية - ط) في التجويد، و (الألغاز النحوية - ط)
