من الرواية: داخل أحد الكافيهات على النيل حيث إعتدت أن أصطحبها إليه فى بعض الأوقات وكعادتنا طوال الخمسة أشهر الماضية جلسنا نتحدث فى شتى الأمور التى قد تصادفنا دون هدف أو غاية سوى قضاء بعض الدقائق التى قد نحظى بها بعيدا ً عن الجميع . - حزين أنا بحبك . لو أن الكهرباء صعقتنى ماكانت سأصاب بمثل تلك الحالة التى أصبت بها ما أن أرهفت سمعى لتلك الكلمات التى عصفت بى لتلقى بى أسفل سافلين . - إنتى بتقولى أيه !!! ؟؟؟ حاولت أن أستوضح ما قالته , قربت رأسى قليلاً منها حتى أتأكد من صدق ماسمعته . - أيوه ياحزين أنا بحبك , إنت مش مصدقنى ولا إيه . - أصدقك إزاى إنتى متأكده من اللى انتى بتقوليه إنتى مجنونه ولا إيه . - مجنونه علشان حبيتك يا حزين ولا مجنونه علشان إعترفتلك بحبى ليك ؟ - مجنونه علشان إنتى ست متجوزه وانا راجل متجوز واللى انتى بتقوليه ده أساسا ً ميصحش.
