"وعلى الماء بصمة" ديوان شعري يطل "سعد الحميدين" الأديب والشاعر من خلال على شرفات النزعة الروحية لإنسان العصر - مستخدماً مقاربة فلسطينية - تفكيكية؛ فجاءت قصائده ممتلئة بخليط فني غارق في الإيحاءات التي أحالها الشاعر إلى مفاهيم وتأويلات لمفردات شتى ضمها قاموسه الشعري في ثنائية ميزته تقاطعت فيها مفردات مثل: الماء، الزوايا، الأرض، ظل، رمل، دائرة، جفاف، حكي، صمت، دفء، يقظة، إنتظار، إختمار... إلخ.
جميع هذه المفردات لامس بها شاعرنا خارطة الماضي حيناً، والحاضر حيناً أخرى، والذاكرة المنخورة، يقول في قصيدة بعنوان "مطر": (والمعنى في بطن الشاعر) قالوا: "ما نقموا من فعل أعوج... ما فتلوا من حقد أسود... ما شربوا من ماء آسن... وجماجم تطفو بالشاطئ... يلهث مبهوراً من ضوء الماضي... يأتي... لا يأتي؟!... خارجة الماضي... ف... الصفحة لا زالت مفتوحة... والسهم يشير إلى الآتي...".
