في قصيدته المعنونة "سنين بلا جواب!" نقرأ للشاعر:
"في ساحة تدور في مكانها / ركضت خلف ظلّي / فما استطعتُ أن أنالهُ / فــ .. عدتُ أمشي .. / متدثراً بجبة الفراغ، / وظلي يقتفيني هازلاً / يمشي كما أمشي أنا / إذا التفتُ حانقاً عليه .. / مضى لمْ يقفْ / مطَّ لسانهُ وقلب الشفاهْ / مشيتً أخرى خلفه، / فأسرع الخطى .. / ركضتً / أسرعتً / أسرعَ .. / وقفت فجأة وقف . (...) قالوا الربيع قالوا بل قيلَ إنه الخريف / فــَ .. يا لطيفْ !!".
يضم الكتاب تسع قصائد تنتمي لقصيدة النثر جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- ربيع الرماد، 2- أنفاس، 3- لا شيء مثل الشيء، 4- كلمات تمشي، 5- سين بلا جواب، 6- صورة تمحو صورتها، 7- رسمة على صفحة الوقت، 8- زمن العجب، 9- تجويف.
