كان هناك برنامج إفتاء يعرض على قناة عربية شهيرة بعد كل صلاة جمعة, وكنا نجتمع مع العائلة بعد وجبة الغداء أمام التلفاز ونتابع هذا البرنامج, وفي إحدى حلقاته اتصل أحد المتطرفين أو من يتعاطف مع المتطرفين الإرهابيين، وطلب أن يتحدث مع الشيخ بشكل خاص وبكل وضوح, وعندما أجابه الشيخ بالقبول, قام المتصل بسرد هذه الآية الكريمة: (وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ) " سورة الأنفال, آية 60 " مبرراً به إرهاب الجماعات الإرهابية، وعملياتهم الإجرامية التي لم يسلم منها شيخ ولا امرأة ولا طفل ولا رجل أمن .. إلخ. وبدأت الأسئلة تتوالى علي: هل هذا هو معنى الآية الحقيقي؟ هل وظفوا الآية بالشكل الصحيح؟ أو : هل فهموا الآية، وفسروها بطريقة خاطئة؟ هل وظفوا الآية بطريقة ملتوية تخدم أهدافهم الإجرامية؟ ماهي القوة؟ وماذا عن (رباط الخيل)؟ ومامعنى (ترهبون)؟ تزاحمت الأسئلة في رأسي ، ولكل سؤال أجد أكثر من إجابة، وكل إجابة تختلف اختلافاً جذرياً عن الإجابات الأخرى لنفس السؤال .. عندها قررت أن أُبحِرفي أهم حقبة في تاريخ الإسلام ، وبحثت في كيفية تطبيق الرسول الكريم لهذه الآية المهمة والحاسمة وكيفية تعامله معها, وكيف أثمر تطبيق الرسول الكريم لهذه الآية في تأسيس مجتمع عظيم قاد العالم من الظلمات إلى النور.
