السُّهْرَوَرْدي (539 - 632 هـ = 1145 - 1234 م)
عمر بن محمد بن عبد الله ابن عمويه، أبو حفص شهاب الدين القرشي التيمي البكري السُّهْرَوَرْدي : فقيه شافعيّ، مفسر، واعظ. من كبار الصوفية. مولده في «سهرورد» ووفاته ببغداد. كان شيخ الشيوخ ببغداد. وأوفده الخليفة
إلى عدة جهات رسولا. وأقعد في آخر عمره، فكان يحمل إلى الجامع في محفة. له كتب، منها «عوارف المعارف - ط» و «نغبة البيان في تفسير القرآن - خ» و «جذب القلوب إلى مواصلة المحبوب - ط» رسالة، و «السير والطير - خ» رسالة. وله شعر حسن في «كناش - خ» عندي. وله «مشيخة - خ» [ثم طُبعت] عندي تصويرها، له عليها سماع سنة 620 لعلها الوارد ذكرها في شستربتي، الرقم 3495 الفقرة التاسعة. و «رشف النصائح الإيمانية وكشف الفضائح اليونانية - خ» ذكرته مجلة Oriens (1)

Book Description
يحتوى الكتاب على سبعة هياكل، ينقسم كل من الرابع والخامس منها إلى فصول.
أولاً: الهيكل الأول:
فى هذا الهيكل يتكلم المؤلف عن الجسم ويذكر أن كل ما يمكن الإشارة إليه بالحس فهم جسم له طول وعرض وعمق، والجسم عنده لا يمكن ان ينقسم إلى ذرات أى إلى أجزاء لا تتجزأ- كما يقول المتكلمون.
ثانياً: وفى الهيكل الثانى: يعرض لمشكلة وجود النفس وتجردها وقواها.
ثالثاً: وفى الهيكل الثالث يتناول السهروردى بعض مبادئ المشائين فيعرف الواجب والممكن والممتنع ويقرر أن هناك رابطة عليه تنتظم الوجود بأسره، وهو بذلك يدافع عن الحتمية العقلية ويرد بطريقة غير مباشرة على مذهب الصدفة الأشعرى.
ويشمل الهيكل الرابع خمسة فصول تلخص بعض مبادئ حكمة الإشراق.
وفى الهيكل الخامس يذكر السهرودى حركة الأفلاك الدائرية الإرادية ويعرض للقسمة الثنائية الأفلاطونية، وفى هذا الهيكل وكذلك فى الهيكل السابع يلخص السهروردى ما أورده بالتفصيل فى المقالة الخامسة من الجزء الثانى من كتاب "حكمة الإشراق" عن المعاد والنبوة والأحلام.
